How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
Popular wedding dates, especially during the spring and fall, can book well in advance. We recommend contacting us as soon as you have your wedding date and venue. If your wedding is coming up soon, please contact us because we may still have your date available.

How does deposit and payment work?
We take a $200.00 deposit to secure the date, and the balance is due before or by the day of your event. You may make payments on the balance in advance or pay your balance all at once. We accept checks up until 10 days before your event; once within the 10 day period we only accept cash.

I am having a wedding, can I meet my photographer?
Of course, in fact we insist upon it. Making your event run as smoothly as possible is our number one goal.

What are the reasons for needing a second photographer?
There are many reasons to choose two photographers such as:
• While the 1st photographer is with the bride and bridesmaids, the 2nd photographer could be with the groom and groomsmen.
• While the 1st photographer is photographing the formal & family photos, the 2nd photographer will photograph the venue, room, table setting, guest cards, and cake.
• Two photographers will shoot more photos, for more memories.

Will you help us plan our wedding photography timeline?
Yes. We work with you before the wedding to create a photography timeline that allows enough time for getting ready, portraits, family photos, and important moments while helping your wedding day run smoothly.

Do you photograph both candid moments and formal portraits?
Yes. We photograph a combination of candid moments, traditional family and wedding-party portraits, and creative portraits so your final collection tells the complete story of your wedding day.

How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?
A preview gallery is available shortly after your wedding, and your fully edited gallery is typically delivered within 1-6 weeks. Every image is individually edited for color, exposure, and detail.

Do I own the rights to my photos?
Yes, you have full rights to do anything you want with your photos.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
We always prepare for changing weather and can photograph indoors, under covered areas, or use creative lighting when needed. If there is a break in the weather, we can also take advantage of it for outdoor portraits.

Should I provide a shot list?
The short answer is no and here is why... If the photographer is spending 40% of their time looking at a list you will end up with far less photos. Also many important photos typically are not put on the list provided by the couple and there for missed. When following a list, photos take almost twice as long becuse there is no order.

Do you use flashes and off camera lighting?
Yes, absolutly we use a combination of on camera and off camera lighting to be sure your photos are bright, sharp & clear. Avoid natural light photographers, your photos will tend to be grainy / blurry and have bright backgrounds and dark faces.

Could I get color, and black and white photos?
Yes, we shoot all photos in color and digital so they could be converted easily to black and white if you choose so.

What should I take into consideration when choosing a venue?
Avoid small rooms. Also rooms with low ceilings, dark wood ceilings and/or walls, or rooms with glossy/shiny walls.

We serve New Haven County, Fairfield County, Hartford County, Middlesex County, New London County, Litchfield County, and locations throughout Connecticut.
